Obama sent me a text probably not at such an ungodly hour as when I received it (3:45AM), but... it looks like we have an Obama/Biden ticket to look forward to! I, for one, am pretty pleased with it. My only complaint is that it doesn't quite roll off the tongue as nicely as I would like. Somehow, though, I think I'll survive :-)
So looking forward to what's to come!

The leader of our nation needs to [be able to] use a computer. This is not a choice.
(Huffington Post)
I'm sorry, but... I really can't see it being a good idea to have a President who cannot use, or won't bother to use the most important and prolific tool available in our nation... especially when kids half my own age are just as good, if not twice as good at using it as I am! So basically, he's just being ignorant. This is an information age, and I don't care how good the old ways seem to work. We've moved on. Oh, and "he's old" isn't even an excuse! My coworker's 94 year-old grandmother can use a computer, has an email address (that she uses, regularly!). So there.

Senators say whether they'd agree to be vice president
I spent way too much time, today, giggling over this not to post it.
So great!
